In the 89th minute Donato Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Lech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kazimierz Cichowski got free with Serafin Hitzeder in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 91 played minutes Acoite FC got a freekick which was hit by Astor Donostia. 92 minutes into the match, FC Saxon's Stasio Gniech broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 95 minutes into the game, Gilbert Dziuma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Saxon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acoite FC the free kick. After having played for 96 minutes, Astor Donostia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acoite FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Donostia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
