The corner led Salelles's Afşar Çoğaş to fire away a dangerous shot which Janne Katt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Janne Katt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Chelaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo-Erik Skytt in the 13th minute of play forced Salelles's goalkeeper Giuseppe Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. One of Salelles:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sonstorps Fotboll:s goal. In the 31st minute, Arkadiusz Rudy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matthew De la Torre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Janne Katt having to make a save. 41 minutes into the match, Sonstorps Fotboll's goalkeeper Janne Katt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthew De la Torre. After 41 minutes, Jonas Rosendahl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sonstorps Fotboll and the Salelles players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonas Rosendahl hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthew De la Torre to strike the kick off in the second half. Gavino Semeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe Silveira having to interfere. With a little luck, Salelles's Giuseppe Silveira got control of the ball when Daniel Törnblom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Helge Åström hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sonstorps Fotboll's goalkeeper Janne Katt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Törnblom came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Giuseppe Silveira could save by the left post. Daniel Törnblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Giuseppe Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Salelles got a freekick which was hit by Traian Chelaru. The Sonstorps Fotboll supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sonstorps Fotboll would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
