RedBull Diósgyőr FC were furious when Kálmán Kozák was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 30 minutes into the match, RedBull Diósgyőr FC's goal looked a bit too open when Camron Rhodes came free, but Attila Mesterházy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The RedBull Diósgyőr FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Attila Mesterházy should have stopped the shot.
