Attila Mesterházy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Beliran got free with Attila Mesterházy in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The nice shot from Cristian Beliran in the 11thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Attila Mesterházy had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Beliran got free with Attila Mesterházy in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Attila Mesterházy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Bittor, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Bernabe Jerrold nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Attila Mesterházy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. RedBull Diósgyőr FC's Attila Mesterházy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save RedBull Diósgyőr FC from getting a goal against them. Jan Hendrik Lange could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Attila Mesterházy made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Attila Mesterházy threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aquilino Bittor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Attila Mesterházy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Gitano in the 39th minute. Attila Mesterházy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Hendrik Lange went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Porres during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vamos Los Pibes!!!! booed when RedBull Diósgyőr FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Porres didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jakab Boross to make the kick off. Attila Mesterházy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Gitano in the 78th minute of the match. Attila Mesterházy came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Jan Hendrik Lange. But to his dismay, Jan Hendrik Lange quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Nándor Szekeres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Florentino Gitano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vamos Los Pibes!!!! fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vamos Los Pibes!!!! fully deserved thier win.
