The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the CKS Zbiersk defense, Maximino Arnau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leszek Maziarski. The CKS Zbiersk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leszek Maziarski should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute, Maximino Arnau made a precise shot to the right of Leszek Maziarski. CKS Zbiersk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. If Simon Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximino Arnau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Tobiasz Bambas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jan Bednarek was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, one of CKS Zbiersk:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CKS Zbiersk. Iwan Jazowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobiasz Bambas in the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to CKS Zbiersk getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Maciej Jajecznica hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Simon Francis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Leszek Maziarski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximino Arnau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the game, CKS Zbiersk's Tobiasz Bambas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iwan Jazowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximino Arnau got free with Leszek Maziarski in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
