The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Franco Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Pihl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik Allikmäe hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The supporters of Basmane Texas booed when Al-Norr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Mendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mårten Ekström. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gürsel Aksel in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mårten Ekström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mårten Ekström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Mårten Ekström managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 25 minutes into the match, Basmane Texas's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Mendez came free, but Franco Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mårten Ekström came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel. But to his dismay, Gürsel Aksel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Basmane Texas's Ayi Yılmaz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Patrik Åström in the 37 minute of the game. Gürsel Aksel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Mårten Ekström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gürsel Aksel struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Mårten Ekström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basmane Texas. Keijo Järvensivu hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gürsel Aksel was the one to do the kick off. Mårten Ekström came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel. But to his dismay, Gürsel Aksel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. A collision led to Basmane Texas getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Zac 赵云 hit a great ball. The throw-in from Patrik Åström in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Basmane Texas's René Bähner. Dennis Pihl's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Franco Armani firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gürsel Aksel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mårten Ekström having to make a save. Mårten Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürsel Aksel in the 65th minute of the match. Dennis Pihl who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Franco Armani when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Basmane Texas's Gürsel Aksel in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Al-Norr's goalie prevented a goal. Basmane Texas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Paulino Mendez scored to the left of an out of position Franco Armani, making the score, 5-1. Dennis Pihl succeeded in the game's 81st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-2. Gürsel Aksel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The attack was good, but when Fredric Collin in the 88th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 91 minutes into the game, Gürsel Aksel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Mårten Ekström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gürsel Aksel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mårten Ekström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Al-Norr's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Basmane Texas had won, even though Al-Norr had held more of the ball.
