If Konstantinos Kroustallis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute Konstantinos Kroustallis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Di Xing Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Vänge IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvard Enström to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vänge IF's goalkeeper Di Xing Yu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gyál United's Horaţiu Petran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Schorsch Schmalzbauer in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute Edvard Enström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Petran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Di Xing Yu came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Gyál United's Konstantinos Kroustallis. But to his dismay, Konstantinos Kroustallis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Di Xing Yu made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Vacib 林义义 sent off a good shot on target. Di Xing Yu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwin Bienvenu in the 21st minute of the match. Tito Montaño made in the 23rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Miklós Páncsics however managed to control. In the 25th match minute, Gyál United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tito Montaño to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Schorsch Schmalzbauer in the 27th minute of play forced Gyál United's goalkeeper Horaţiu Petran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vänge IF's Schorsch Schmalzbauer managed to work through Gyál United's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Schorsch Schmalzbauer dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Vänge IF's Di Xing Yu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deivid Trigo in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Zoltán Varga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Di Xing Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Zoltán Varga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Di Xing Yu. The goal made the score 2-0. Edvard Enström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Horaţiu Petran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konstantinos Kroustallis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Di Xing Yu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Lebron in the 44th minute of play forced Gyál United's goalkeeper Horaţiu Petran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Di Xing Yu came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Gyál United's Zoltán Varga. But to his dismay, Zoltán Varga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Vänge IF made a substitution. Raşit Timuroz replaced Schorsch Schmalzbauer.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zoltán Varga to make the kick off. Di Xing Yu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Varga in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Gyál United's Konstantinos Kroustallis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Di Xing Yu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vänge IF's Di Xing Yu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoltán Varga in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Vacib 林义义 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Di Xing Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Raşit Timuroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes in the game Tito Montaño did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Erwin Bienvenu. Di Xing Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erwin Bienvenu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute of the match Gyál United got a corner. Vänge IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ignác Mayer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Gyál United's Erwin Bienvenu to fire away a dangerous shot which Di Xing Yu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltán Varga in the 68th minute of play forced Vänge IF's goalkeeper Di Xing Yu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vänge IF's Di Xing Yu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Bienvenu in the 74th minute of play. Juan Lebron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Horaţiu Petran made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Erwin Bienvenu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Andy Robertsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vänge IF's Raşit Timuroz in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gyál United's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Bienvenu in the 88th minute of play forced Vänge IF's goalkeeper Di Xing Yu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vänge IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ignác Mayer was slow to take the kick. During this time Gyál United's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Gyál United's Konstantinos Kroustallis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 93rd minute Konstantinos Kroustallis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Di Xing Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gyál United's Erwin Bienvenu got a free kick in the 99th minute. Raşit Timuroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gyál United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
