Albi Martínez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gjermund Aabel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Óbolo in the 6th minute of play forced City Friseur Wuppertal's goalkeeper Xu Yi Lei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gjermund Aabel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Ryback, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ivan Óbolo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Ivan Óbolo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xu Yi Lei. City Friseur Wuppertal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Óbolo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Waldemar Ryback had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Hans-Kristian Aanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xu Yi Lei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes City Friseur Wuppertal got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Vestlund. Sagene IF's Gjermund Aabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Ryback in the 27th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Óbolo couldn't finish the play. Albi Martínez struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Gjermund Aabel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for City Friseur Wuppertal. Ivan Óbolo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sagene IF's Bernad Velicia got a free kick in the 45th minute. Wang Zhen Tian kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Albi Martínez made a precise shot to the right of Gjermund Aabel. Sagene IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waldemar Ryback to make the kick off. The supporters of City Friseur Wuppertal booed when Sagene IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wang Zhen Tian didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 played minutes Sagene IF got a freekick which was hit by Wang Zhen Tian. If Waldemar Ryback had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xu Yi Lei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Óbolo in the 78th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Bernad Velicia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sagene IF made a substitution. Kjell Ekeli replaced Torstein Solli. In the 88th minute, Bernad Velicia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Nebi Tokyürek in the 88th minute really tested Gjermund Aabel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, Sagene IF's Gjermund Aabel got control of the ball when Nebi Tokyürek tried to sneak it across the goal line.
