Zlatko Ibrahimović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ermegildo Pacorro made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Club Almirante Brown's zone, Iosif Vornic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Pacorro came out of the goal and Iosif Vornic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute Zlatko Ibrahimović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Pacorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fire Devils's Ismael Kalnik got a free kick in the 26th minute. Aldo Asier's late challenge caught a Fire Devils's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo Asier helped the player get up and apologised. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zlatko Ibrahimović to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Club Almirante Brown's Nicanor Ceandro got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Samuel Giger missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 55 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ermegildo Pacorro right hand side. Felix Gines's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olaf Geiger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Olaf Geiger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Gines in the 62nd minute of the match. Ermegildo Pacorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Nalaskowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Club Almirante Brown's Ermegildo Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Nalaskowski in the 67th minute of play. Dariusz Nalaskowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ermegildo Pacorro having to make a save. Ermegildo Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Vornic in the 78th minute of play.
