Spectators: 7623 (Terracing: 5718, Seating: 1753, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tytus Banaszak started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Tytus Banaszak sped through DARAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dobrin Beremov. After 5 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Rumen Dzhananov. In the 6th minute, Leonardo Lane made a precise shot to the right of Dobrin Beremov. DARAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, DARAS's Iliya Kasabov got a free kick in the 8th minute. Dobrin Beremov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Lane, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Lane in the 18th minute of play forced DARAS's goalkeeper Dobrin Beremov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tytus Banaszak's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dobrin Beremov firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 20th minute of the match Zamalek FC got a corner. DARAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sergey Krasinskiy ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dobrin Beremov made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Tytus Banaszak sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute Mugurel Balaeț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobrin Beremov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sergey Krasinskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dobrin Beremov made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Tytus Banaszak sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute of the match Zamalek FC got a corner. DARAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sergey Krasinskiy ran over to the corner to take the kick. DARAS's Dobrin Beremov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Lane in the 47th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, DARAS's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Lane came free, but Dobrin Beremov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Dobrin Beremov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. DARAS made a substitution. Gergin Bogoev replaced Svetoslav Hrulev. Zamalek FC's Daron Joseph was substituted for Leonardo Lane. A nice corner shot did that Sergey Krasinskiy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dobrin Beremov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Daron Joseph's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dobrin Beremov was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After 83 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Rumen Dzhananov. When Boncho Zhilev fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DARAS's protests and gave Boncho Zhilev a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to DARAS getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Nedyalko Berberov hit a great ball. Sergey Krasinskiy was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Zamalek FC's Daron Joseph got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 minutes of play, Zamalek FC's Fred Kirkpatrick made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dobrin Beremov was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Zamalek FC had played much better football throughout.
