Baxters Boys's Staffan Joensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korneliusz Barna in the 9th minute of play. Staffan Joensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korneliusz Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Baxters Boys's zone, Korneliusz Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Staffan Joensson came out of the goal and Korneliusz Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Jiang Lang Kun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baxters Boys's Staffan Joensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Baxters Boys getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Tom Nordmark hit a great ball. Korneliusz Barna struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Staffan Joensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Batalionul U23 Dorobanti. 36 minutes into the game, Stig Gulliksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Flavio Peter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 42 minutes, Tom Nordmark mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baxters Boys and the Batalionul U23 Dorobanti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tom Nordmark hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Korneliusz Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Staffan Joensson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Korneliusz Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th minute Korneliusz Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Joensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Batalionul U23 Dorobanti getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Tiberiu Zgârcu hit a great ball. The long shot by Sotirios Papagiannopoulos in the 48th minute really tested Flavio Peter's skills. In the 54th minute, Korneliusz Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Staffan Joensson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Filip Negulici made a great header on Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's corner, it was just that Baxters Boys's Staffan Joensson managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 59th minute, Jiang Lang Kun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Flavio Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Andreasson in the 60th minute of play. After 64 played minutes Batalionul U23 Dorobanti got a freekick which was hit by Tauro Doro. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Sotirios Papagiannopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baxters Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Sotirios Papagiannopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Peter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69thth minute of the game Korneliusz Barna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baxters Boys's Staffan Joensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Korneliusz Barna in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Staffan Joensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute, Tauro Doro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baxters Boys made a substitution. Enrique Tavares replaced Jan-Olof Bergendahl. Baxters Boys's Carl Thorsberg was substituted for Bertil Andreasson. After a rather tough play, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Tauro Doro got a free kick in the 78th minute. Enrique Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Korneliusz Barna took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Staffan Joensson. Staffan Joensson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 84 played minutes Baxters Boys got a freekick which was hit by Tom Nordmark. In the 87th minute, Jiang Lang Kun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Staffan Joensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xerxes Doro in the 89th minute. Ulisses Doro hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Enrique Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Batalionul U23 Dorobanti's Jiang Lang Kun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. The Baxters Boys fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Batalionul U23 Dorobanti were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
