Mandalas's Zeca Couve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apalasuka Moco in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Hurboc booed when Mandalas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marquinhos Ramalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Toader Vancea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeca Couve read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Mandalas's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Theobald came free, but Zeca Couve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hurboc walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
