La Palmira F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Uriel Isias notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of La Palmira F.C's Javier Florian. Javier Florian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Javier Florian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uriel Isias went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Javier Florian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uriel Isias in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Florian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uriel Isias to strike the kick off in the second half. Generoso Rudolfo charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Generoso Rudolfo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Isidro Millano kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Juniors FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Virgilio Satordi hit a great ball. Elpidio Micael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Lázaro Colon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juniors FC's Enrique Frasco was substituted for Uriel Isias. Juniors FC's Roberto Vedillo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bernardino Telo, made in the 70th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the game, one of La Palmira F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Javier Florian had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Enrique Frasco's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The Juniors FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Juniors FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
