Dennis Rechnitzer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Lunáticos's Wilian Lopez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guaberto Cucao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guaberto Cucao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Heriberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Dennis Rechnitzer made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Mainumby's zone, Wilian Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Cucao came out of the goal and Wilian Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Gizon got free with Dennis Rechnitzer in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the game, Nunez Gizon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dennis Rechnitzer. Nunez Gizon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 27th minute, Lunáticos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Adan Gonza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 31 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goal looked a bit too open when Wilian Lopez came free, but Guaberto Cucao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mainumby's Amancio Intxixu got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Mainumby's Adan Gonza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dennis Rechnitzer. That made the score 3-0 after 36 minutes of play. 42 minutes into the match, Lunáticos's Wilian Lopez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guaberto Cucao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Wilian Lopez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lunáticos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 45th match minute, Mainumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Estavan to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nunez Gizon to make the kick off. With his leg Guaberto Cucao managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Lunáticos's Wilian Lopez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lunáticos made a substitution. Edgar Bastos replaced Marcel Dionísio. In the 61st minute Wilian Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, Lunáticos's Wilian Lopez made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guaberto Cucao was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Mainumby booed when Lunáticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Luis Gelacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guaberto Cucao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murilo Marinho in the 74th minute. Guaberto Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Filletti in the 78th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mainumby defense, Wilian Lopez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guaberto Cucao. The Mainumby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guaberto Cucao should have stopped the shot. Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Mainumby from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Paranaense came free, but Guaberto Cucao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lunáticos's Dennis Rechnitzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Gonza in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilian Lopez got free with Guaberto Cucao in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Murillo Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Cucao having to interfere. Guaberto Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian Lopez in the 95th minute of play. Lunáticos's Murilo Marinho suffered a sore thigh after 97 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Lunáticos made a substitution. Urtungo Bertiz replaced Murilo Marinho. After 99 played minutes Mainumby got a freekick which was hit by Luis Gelacio.
