The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC ciufulici's Dacian Oravițan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Crişan Fenomeno in the 2nd minute of play. FC ciufulici's Dacian Oravițan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save FC ciufulici from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute Crişan Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Oravițan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Carroll Mansfield notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC ciufulici's Dacian Oravițan. Dacian Oravițan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raí Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toader Ghișe in the 24th minute of the match. Raí Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Oroian, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Vilhelm Lorden was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. GAÚCHO FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Dacian Oravițan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Crişan Fenomeno in the 39th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Duda Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The supporters of FC ciufulici booed when GAÚCHO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carroll Mansfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes, FC ciufulici's Sabin Craia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raí Seco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC ciufulici reached it. With a little luck, GAÚCHO FC's Raí Seco got control of the ball when Edgar Vlas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raí Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Vlas in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, FC ciufulici was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Robescu to maneuver through the defense. Carroll Mansfield kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Dacian Oravițan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Crişan Fenomeno in the 86th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the GAÚCHO FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
