In the 18th match minute, Golden State Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel de Castro to maneuver through the defense. Olgierd Kilar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ian Paranaense. Golden State Warriors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Buffalo Timişoara fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Buffalo Timişoara's Augusto Benitez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Golden State Warriors's Laércio Velloso got a free kick in the 37th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Benitez in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Paranaense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vali Voicescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Paranaense having to interfere. Augusto Benitez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ian Paranaense having to make a save.

The wind increased when Augusto Benitez made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Franky Ooms managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buffalo Timişoara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franky Ooms was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Franky Ooms hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Franky Ooms came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Buffalo Timişoara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franky Ooms couldn't finish the play. Ian Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Benitez in the 57th minute of play. Ian Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ian Paranaense was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Adrian Zbora capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adrian Zbora really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Buffalo Timişoara's Maxim Pintilie was substituted for Orhan Ortanca. 76 minutes into the match, Golden State Warriors's goalkeeper Ian Paranaense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Voicu. Bebeto Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The long shot by Olgierd Kilar in the 82nd minute really tested Ian Paranaense's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Benitez in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Paranaense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Buffalo Timişoara fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Buffalo Timişoara's Valentin Voicu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 91 minutes into the match, Augusto Benitez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ian Paranaense, 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Augusto Benitez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buffalo Timişoara's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Benitez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Paranaense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Buffalo Timişoara's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
