A nice corner shot did that Peiter Mora got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jerônimo Maranhense quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 10th minute Jonathan da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dionisio Hitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jerônimo Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan da Cunha to make the kick off.
