Kléber Cavalcante started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Dustin Schellander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiago Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 11th minute, Tris Ruddock made a precise shot to the right of Tiago Godoi. São Paulo F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After having played for 14 minutes, Tris Ruddock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Chelsea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tris Ruddock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patrick Panther hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Yaya Sow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tiago Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dustin Schellander in the 26th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gus Weir in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Godoi saved São Paulo F.C. from getting behind. After 29 minutes, Attila Keserű mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the São Paulo F.C. and the Real Chelsea players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, São Paulo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attila Keserű to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute Tris Ruddock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Real Chelsea's Gus Weir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yaya Sow got free with Liam Edmunds in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiago Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dustin Schellander in the 43rd minute of the match. Kelvin Oldham kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tris Ruddock to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, São Paulo F.C.'s Dorian Quadros got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 53 played minutes São Paulo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Vidal. After 54 minutes, Tris Ruddock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Chelsea and the São Paulo F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tris Ruddock kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Dustin Schellander took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiago Godoi. Tiago Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. After 65 played minutes Real Chelsea got a freekick which was hit by Stu Bullock. Vito Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Liam Edmunds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Tris Ruddock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tris Ruddock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Tyler Tolley made a precise shot to the right of Tiago Godoi. São Paulo F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Real Chelsea made a substitution. Alf Martindale replaced Uno Klemensson. Liam Edmunds showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaya Sow in the 91st minute of the match. Liam Edmunds made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaya Sow in the 94th minute of play. After 96 played minutes Real Chelsea got a freekick which was hit by Kelvin Oldham. The Real Chelsea supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Chelsea would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
