The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Wolf booed when Seterma Tractors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wolf's Alexsandro Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enéas de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Seterma Tractors's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Moraes came free, but Patrik Sikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Wolf's Elói Moraes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Fernandão Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton de Queirós in the 26th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Seterma Tractors's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Moraes came free, but Patrik Sikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrik Sikström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Dudu Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bo Brummer kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 31stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Seterma Tractors's keeper Patrik Sikström was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. If Doriva Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Sikström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elói Moraes in the 37th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Seterma Tractors's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Moraes came free, but Patrik Sikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademir Tande's late challenge caught a Wolf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ademir Tande helped the player get up and apologised. Bo Brummer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Sikström having to interfere. Doriva Dante struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Patrik Sikström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolf. Wolf's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Ademir Tande scored to the left of an out of position Fernandão Rodrigues, making the score, 1-1. Despite this Fernandão Rodrigues quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A hard shot 76 in the game by Nilton de Queirós from a close distance when the talented Fernandão Rodrigues managed to make a qualified save. Wolf's players were relieved. Seterma Tractors's Patrik Sikström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexsandro Bueno in the 79th minute of play. Patrik Sikström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandinho de Godoi in the 80th minute of the match. Alessandro Paolucci hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Wolf's Carlos Augusto de Barros couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Seterma Tractors. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wolf's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Acácio Santana was slow to take the kick. During this time Seterma Tractors's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Santana in the 90th minute of play forced Wolf's goalkeeper Fernandão Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Elói Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrik Sikström. Seterma Tractors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elói Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Doriva Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Wolf fully deserved thier win.
