The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Mustafa Birol Zekai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang Hao in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Jiang Hao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Birol Zekai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Birol Zekai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang Hao, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Gökçen Kulan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cyryl Adamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Mustafa Birol Zekai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Waclaw Kaczanek notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Mustafa Birol Zekai. Mustafa Birol Zekai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baturhan Osmanlı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pawel Madej having to interfere. GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Mustafa Birol Zekai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Majorski in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 played minutes GALATASARAY O.Z. got a freekick which was hit by Burhan Tezcan. Pawel Madej took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökçen Kulan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Gökçen Kulan in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Olimpia Koło's Cyryl Adamus got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mustafa Birol Zekai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Hao in the 44th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Sylwester Majorski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olimpia Koło's supporters rose to their feet, but Sylwester Majorski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Birol Zekai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gökçen Kulan in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pawel Madej saved Olimpia Koło from getting behind. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Gökçen Kulan sped through Olimpia Koło's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pawel Madej. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolek Jarmulowicz got free with Mustafa Birol Zekai in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 55 minutes into the match, Jiang Hao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mustafa Birol Zekai. GALATASARAY O.Z.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jiang Hao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Mustafa Birol Zekai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyryl Adamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mustafa Birol Zekai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyryl Adamus in the 62nd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY O.Z.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Adamus came free, but Mustafa Birol Zekai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Cyryl Adamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Birol Zekai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Though ot was a great shot GALATASARAY O.Z.'s keeper Mustafa Birol Zekai was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. A nice corner shot did that Waclaw Kaczanek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mustafa Birol Zekai quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Olimpia Koło's Jiang Hao got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mustafa Birol Zekai was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tolek Jarmulowicz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 90 minute of play. With a little luck, GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Mustafa Birol Zekai got control of the ball when Jiang Hao tried to sneak it across the goal line.
