Wandy Petera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Rosendo Balesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Crispin Grassow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to AC Rangers getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Crispin Grassow hit a great ball. Maní FC's Wandy Petera got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in AC Rangers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Rosendo Balesio had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Gabriel Hauche's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. AC Rangers's Rosendo Balesio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save AC Rangers from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute Leukothoe Sakelaris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Pitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maní FC's Pascual Pitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leukothoe Sakelaris in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Maní FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Wandy Petera hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

AC Rangers's Yücel Özakıncı was substituted for Guido Ler. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Hauche to make the kick off. Totin Nuñez took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pascual Pitin. After some careless play in the AC Rangers defense, Wandy Petera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rosendo Balesio. The AC Rangers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rosendo Balesio should have stopped the shot.
