When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Blue Tigers's Jerzy Tomporowski got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fernanco Muslera. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Blue Tigers! The referee gave Emotep SK a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Patricio Caller, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Blue Tigers's Reinaldo Pires. 1-1. When Lucjan Juzda fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blue Tigers's protests and gave Lucjan Juzda a yellow card for diving instead. Lucjan Juzda was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. Reinaldo Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Caller, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Emotep SK's Ryan Giggs got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reinaldo Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryan Giggs went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Reinaldo Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryan Giggs went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Reinaldo Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Giggs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Blue Tigers getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jerzy Tomporowski hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerzy Tomporowski made a kick off. Reinaldo Pires made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brayden McPaul in the 54th minute. Brayden McPaul kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryan Giggs got free with Reinaldo Pires in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Borys Burdalski charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Borys Burdalski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Blue Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Borys Burdalski. Ryan Giggss short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Reinaldo Pires to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Reinaldo Pires stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryan Giggs's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Reinaldo Pires came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Emotep SK's Brayden McPaul. But to his dismay, Brayden McPaul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Emotep SK's Şeray Hepyener was substituted for Sezen Erencan. Patricio Caller might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reinaldo Pires. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Caller ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brayden McPaul in the 71st minute of play forced Blue Tigers's goalkeeper Reinaldo Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 79 in the game by Ryan Giggs from a close distance when the talented Reinaldo Pires managed to make a qualified save. Blue Tigers's players were relieved. Reinaldo Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brayden McPaul went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Emotep SK's Arif Nihat Soyuer was substituted for Faruk Nafiz Temcit. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brayden McPaul in the 85th minute of play forced Blue Tigers's goalkeeper Reinaldo Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryan Giggs had several of the Blue Tigers's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-7 score and a disappointed Reinaldo Pires as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 89th minute, Brayden McPaul left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Emotep SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. In the 93rd match minute, Blue Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerzy Tomporowski to maneuver through the defense. Brayden McPaul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emotep SK played a much better game than Blue Tigers and deserved their victory. The Blue Tigers players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
