Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paul-Louis Van Mechelen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Andries Van Mechelen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute of the match YELLOW FC got a corner. YR Mechelen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomáš Řehák ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on YELLOW FC's corner Tomáš Řehák fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andries Van Mechelen quite easily take care of the ball. After 8 minutes of play, YELLOW FC's Avraam Sevastopoulos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andries Van Mechelen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th minute, Jan-Olof Kämpe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andries Van Mechelen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, YR Mechelen's Leo Van Mechelen got a free kick in the 14th minute. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by YR Mechelen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomáš Řehák was slow to take the kick. During this time YELLOW FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Evripidis Zoubadellis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andries Van Mechelen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When YELLOW FC's Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye YR Mechelen's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd match minute, YELLOW FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Kämpe to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Avraam Sevastopoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andries Van Mechelen. YR Mechelen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Avraam Sevastopoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. With a little luck, YR Mechelen's Andries Van Mechelen got control of the ball when Tomáš Řehák tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vaggelis Lalas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul-Louis Van Mechelen in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Tomáš Řehák made a precise shot to the right of Andries Van Mechelen. YR Mechelen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. YR Mechelen's Andries Van Mechelen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save YR Mechelen from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

YELLOW FC's Eutichios Panagakos was substituted for Giannis Kourelas. In the 52nd minute, Avraam Sevastopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andries Van Mechelen was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 56th minute Tomáš Řehák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andries Van Mechelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to YR Mechelen getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Diederik Van Mechelen hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the game, Miguel Van Mechelen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. YR Mechelen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave YELLOW FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, YR Mechelen's Miguel Van Mechelen got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 60th minute, Avraam Sevastopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When YELLOW FC's Avraam Sevastopoulos in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye YR Mechelen's goalie prevented a goal. YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuur Candries in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute, Miguel Van Mechelen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Algirdas Radzevičius took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andries Van Mechelen. YR Mechelen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tuur Candries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanasis Robos in the 80th minute of play forced YR Mechelen's goalkeeper Andries Van Mechelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andries Van Mechelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Spyros Kazantzakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Thanasis Robos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but YR Mechelen's Andries Van Mechelen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 86 minutes YR Mechelen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Algirdas Radzevičius who took care of the corner kick. After 87 played minutes YELLOW FC got a freekick which was hit by Avraam Sevastopoulos. 90 minutes into the match, Spyros Kazantzakos notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of YR Mechelen's Andries Van Mechelen. Andries Van Mechelen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andries Van Mechelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Spyros Kazantzakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that YELLOW FC were the better team. YELLOW FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
