In the 23rd minute, Grigore Jula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denílson Catarinense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 26th minute Grigore Jula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denílson Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Beltran in the 40th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Karavela got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Melo. Denílson Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Jula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Beltran took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denílson Catarinense. Denílson Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guto Rosado to strike the kick off in the second half. Enrique Mattos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Dumitru having to make a save. Francisco Beltran struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Denílson Catarinense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rova Rosiori. Denílson Catarinense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grigore Jula went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. A collision led to Rova Rosiori getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Valeriu Poplăcan hit a great ball. Francisco Beltran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigore Jula got free with Denílson Catarinense in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th minute, Francisco Beltran reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Denílson Catarinense. The goal made the score 0-11. Denílson Catarinense came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Rova Rosiori's Francisco Beltran. But to his dismay, Francisco Beltran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Beltran in the 85th minute of play forced Karavela's goalkeeper Denílson Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Karavela's goalkeeper Denílson Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Beltran. Francisco Beltran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Denílson Catarinense made a huge save. After some careless play in the Karavela defense, Francisco Beltran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denílson Catarinense. The Karavela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denílson Catarinense should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Francisco Beltran took a quick shot and it went in 0-14 without a chance for Denílson Catarinense to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded Rova Rosiori left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Karavela.
