The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Walczak came free, but Telmo Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Fabrício Jardel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lupere FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Parvan Hadzhipetkov got a throw-in 14 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jacek Walczak. Liu Yong Yong came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Lupere FC - DMZ's Fabrício Jardel. But to his dismay, Fabrício Jardel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Liu Yong Yong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Jardel in the 21st minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Fabrício Jardel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Liu Yong Yong was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Fabrício Jardel took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Liu Yong Yong. Liu Yong Yong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Talamanca in the 27th minute of play forced Lupere FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Telmo Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Telmo Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Talamanca, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 34 minutes of play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Fabrício Jardel made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Liu Yong Yong was left in no man's land by his defense there! Liu Yong Yong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Jardel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 41 minutes, Fabrício Jardel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lupere FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Jardel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th match minute, OROTINENSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Parvan Hadzhipetkov to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Fabrício Jardel notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong. Liu Yong Yong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabrício Jardel made a kick off. Fabrício Jardel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Liu Yong Yong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match Lupere FC - DMZ got a corner. OROTINENSE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eduardo Paraense ran over to the corner to take the kick. Liu Yong Yong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute, Fabrício Jardel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Jardel in the 90th minute of play. Lupere FC - DMZ's Telmo Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordache Opincaru in the 91st minute of play. Lupere FC - DMZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
