In the 15th minute Anders Byström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Matuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SV Bad Harzburg's Jurek Ohrem quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Timmy Lindblom, made in the 19th minute of the game. North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Silvestre Loi 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Folke Bure made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvestre Loi in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match SV Bad Harzburg got a corner. North Pole Kickers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mathias Schulten ran over to the corner to take the kick. Anders Byström's late challenge caught a SV Bad Harzburg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anders Byström helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to North Pole Kickers getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Anders Byström hit a great ball. Folke Bure didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathias Schulten went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Folke Bure took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Loi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Gösta Ekgren with Timmy Lindblom as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Benedykt Niezywy kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Mathias Schulten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Folke Bure read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvestre Loi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
