The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FLACONQUISTA's Vítor Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Lupu in the 6th minute of play. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Halit Hürsoy sped through FLACONQUISTA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vítor Silva. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind FLACONQUISTA's goalkeeper Vítor Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14thth minute of the game Halit Hürsoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FLACONQUISTA's Vítor Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Halit Hürsoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vítor Silva having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halit Hürsoy in the 15th minute of play forced FLACONQUISTA's goalkeeper Vítor Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Paulo Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandão Carneiro in the 16th minute of play. Halit Hürsoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vítor Silva having to make a save. After having played for 29 minutes, Halit Hürsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Airborne FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halit Hürsoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horia Lupu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Halit Hürsoy in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vítor Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vítor Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halit Hürsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Horia Lupu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Halit Hürsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Airborne FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Halit Hürsoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Halit Hürsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 43 minutes into the match, FLACONQUISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Halit Hürsoy came free, but Vítor Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FLACONQUISTA's zone, Halit Hürsoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Silva came out of the goal and Halit Hürsoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Sven Lind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Halit Hürsoy to strike the kick off in the second half. Halit Hürsoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Halit Hürsoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vítor Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Halit Hürsoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vítor Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halit Hürsoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Paulo Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Senna in the 67th minute of play. Halit Hürsoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Silva having to interfere. Airborne FC made a substitution. Vítor Silva came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Airborne FC's Halit Hürsoy. But to his dismay, Halit Hürsoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After a rather tough play, FLACONQUISTA's Sérgio Ribeiro got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Halit Hürsoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FLACONQUISTA's Vítor Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Airborne FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Airborne FC's Halit Hürsoy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Halit Hürsoy sped through FLACONQUISTA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vítor Silva.
