A.J. 杜义俊 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erland Överman went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Anton Brander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darijus Rudauskas in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Paulius Margelis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Brander was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 18 minutes, Hugo Haedelt made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Amaranthus's Anton Brander tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th match minute, Aleksotas FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Algitas Čiuzas to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th match minute, Amaranthus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Hammarbäck to maneuver through the defense. Sikstas Geralavičius lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aleksotas FK! When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Amaranthus's Reinaldo Jaen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of A.J. 杜义俊. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daugirdas Matulevičius in the 43rd minute of play forced Amaranthus's goalkeeper Anton Brander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes Amaranthus got a freekick which was hit by Jani Toppinen. Anton Brander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darijus Rudauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reinaldo Jaen to make the kick off. Dinaras Dackus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anton Brander came out and tried to block the shot, but Dinaras Dackus slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 52nd minute. 57 minutes into the match, Aleksotas FK's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Jaen came free, but A.J. 杜义俊 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Reinaldo Jaen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amaranthus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Amaranthus's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Darijus Rudauskas 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-4. After some careless play in the Amaranthus defense, Paulius Margelis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anton Brander. The Amaranthus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anton Brander should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Amaranthus's Jani Toppinen got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Amaranthus's Genílson Meireles was substituted for Emil Frisck. In the 75th match minute, Amaranthus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jani Toppinen to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Aleksotas FK's Dinaras Dackus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anton Brander. That made the score 3-6 after 77 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vilmantas Norutis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anton Brander. That made the score 3-7 in the 80 minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Amaranthus's goalkeeper Anton Brander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinaras Dackus. In the 84th minute, Vilmantas Norutis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anton Brander. The goal made the score 3-8. The supporters of Aleksotas FK booed when Amaranthus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Alebeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute of the match Hugo Haedelt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anton Brander skillfully saved the ball. Paulius Katkus scored 3-9 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anton Brander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aleksotas FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
