After 27 played minutes, Blåränderna's Robert Pires shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jens-Ola Lund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Blåränderna reached it. The supporters of Blåränderna booed when The Skates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Hybbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bror Torstensson kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Hickey Dickey shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfred Tingelholm showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alfred Tingelholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Hybbert in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute The Skates were awarded a corner. Hickey Dickey went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Hickey Dickey almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Blåränderna's Alfred Tingelholm did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vilhelm Karlstedt in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfred Tingelholm saved Blåränderna from getting behind. Robert Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jens-Ola Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Tingelholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Hedling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximiliano Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Pires to make the kick off. Blåränderna's Alfred Tingelholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Hybbert in the 72nd minute of play. Blåränderna's Alfred Tingelholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Blåränderna from getting a goal against them. Maximiliano Vargas charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. If Tor Edberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Skates played a much better game than Blåränderna and deserved their victory. The Blåränderna players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
