Cătălin Trică took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Ongile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pavel Mazăre fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Purcaresti CSS's protests and gave Pavel Mazăre a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Purcaresti CSS got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Mazăre. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Best got free with Cătălin Trică in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Di Giuseppe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Arghiroiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Purcaresti CSS's David Zamfirescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Armando Di Giuseppe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. BROŃ RADOM's Anier Ongile was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Armando Di Giuseppe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Măliță in the 33rd minute of the match. BROŃ RADOM's Anier Ongile got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anier Ongile blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cătălin Trică having to make a save. The wind increased when Iustin Radovan made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Purcaresti CSS's goalkeeper Cătălin Trică, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Best in the 59th minute of play forced Purcaresti CSS's goalkeeper Cătălin Trică to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Best received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cătălin Trică tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anier Ongile might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cătălin Trică. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anier Ongile ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the match, Purcaresti CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Ongile came free, but Cătălin Trică reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Anier Ongile came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the BROŃ RADOM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Ongile couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, BROŃ RADOM's Anier Ongile sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cătălin Trică narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cătălin Trică showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Best, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
