Temperley's Jonatan Vennerkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei De Ling in the 4th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Augusto Hoffmann got free with Jonatan Vennerkvist in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the match, Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Wei De Ling came free, but Jonatan Vennerkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Couto Mixto F.C.'s Christopher Langford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Gamus in the 13th minute of play. Jonatan Vennerkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wei De Ling in the 18th minute. Jonatan Vennerkvist was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and José Augusto Hoffmann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Temperley's Jonatan Vennerkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Temperley from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Temperley defense, Eneko Quesada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonatan Vennerkvist. The Temperley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonatan Vennerkvist should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute Eneko Quesada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Vennerkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Couto Mixto F.C. booed when Temperley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mai Zhi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
