The corner ended in Armando Eliazar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva did a great save. Panait Dulca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Angelino Nueva made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Arce in the 15th minute of play forced Caveira FC Rondoniense's goalkeeper Luizão Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilson Viana hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Luizão Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano de Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Cipriano de Toledo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luizão Vargas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Armando Eliazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caveira FC Rondoniense's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Eliazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Nueva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
