ZeRoCooL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renato Tapia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind ZeRoCooL's goalkeeper Juan Urko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Raimundo Goyo fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZeRoCooL's protests and gave Raimundo Goyo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Real Club Celta de Vigo booed when ZeRoCooL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Goyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renato Tapia took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Urko. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Tapia in the 37th minute of play forced ZeRoCooL's goalkeeper Juan Urko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Anibal Quirze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZeRoCooL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Club Celta de Vigo the free kick. In the 61stth minute of the game Renato Tapia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZeRoCooL's Juan Urko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Renato Tapia, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 61 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Juan Urko was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 64thth minute of the game Renato Tapia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZeRoCooL's Juan Urko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pascual Manex kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The ZeRoCooL supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Real Club Celta de Vigo's performance. The match ended with a win for Real Club Celta de Vigo.
