Peter Handirov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Cordarrell's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Sport Club Mavericks's Fernando Lucas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tore Munter in the 8 minute of the game. Lukas Walroth's late challenge caught a Sport Club Mavericks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lukas Walroth helped the player get up and apologised. Lukas Walroth kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zézinho Lopez in the 10th minute of play forced Tunge Titans's goalkeeper Peter Handirov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Peter Handirov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xande Gay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Tremblay, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Tore Munter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edwin Åberg's late challenge caught a Sport Club Mavericks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edwin Åberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Tunge Titans got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Åberg. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Mavericks's İslam Tunçbilek got a free kick in the 28th minute. Tunge Titans's Peter Handirov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudemiro Fragoso in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tunge Titans's zone, Alfredão Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Handirov came out of the goal and Alfredão Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the game, Freddy Cordarrell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Peter Handirov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudemiro Fragoso in the 41st minute of play forced Tunge Titans's goalkeeper Peter Handirov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Freddy Cordarrell made a precise shot to the right of Peter Handirov. Tunge Titans's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddy Cordarrell made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Sport Club Mavericks's Freddy Cordarrell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Handirov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Sport Club Mavericks's Pavlo Kotyuk was substituted for Alfredão Paiva. Sport Club Mavericks made a substitution. Emerson Tande replaced İslam Tunçbilek. The corner ended in Fernando Lucas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tunge Titans's Peter Handirov did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddy Cordarrell got free with Peter Handirov in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 minutes of play, Sport Club Mavericks's Fernando Lucas made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Handirov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tunge Titans's Ganix Urbakh was substituted for Werner van Dam. After 72 minutes, Martin Tremblay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tunge Titans and the Sport Club Mavericks players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Tunge Titans got a freekick which was hit by Martin Tremblay. 79 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's Freddy Cordarrell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Handirov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Freddy Cordarrell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Handirov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. In the last second Peter Handirov throw himself and got hold of the ball when Zézinho Lopez in the 86thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The Sport Club Mavericks fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Sport Club Mavericks's Zézinho Lopez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 89th match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fellipe Souto to maneuver through the defense. After 91 minutes of play, Tunge Titans's Martin Tremblay made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xande Gay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sport Club Mavericks's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
