With his leg Vahap Özdil managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Danone CC's Enéas Carneiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Feridun Birsoy hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Danone CC's Enéas Carneiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vahap Özdil. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. Enéas Carneiro in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vahap Özdil, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Enéas Carneiro let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 27th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. In the 33rd minute Danone CC were awarded a corner. Gernando Proença went to the cornerflag to take it. Danone CC's Gernando Proença was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vahap Özdil in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Enéas Carneiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Vahap Özdil skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 36thth minute of the game Gernando Proença who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Tatangelos's Vahap Özdil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Danone CC's Chico Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Burak Kahveci in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th play minute Enéas Carneiro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vahap Özdil. 3-0. Gernando Proença scored 4-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vahap Özdil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hüseyin Can Timurkan was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Ümit Durukan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chico Albuquerque saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 54 played minutes Los Tatangelos got a freekick which was hit by Ümit Durukan. In the 55th minute, Gernando Proença made a precise shot to the right of Vahap Özdil. Los Tatangelos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 59th minute, Ümit Durukan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernando Proença in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vahap Özdil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ademir Aparecido's late challenge caught a Los Tatangelos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ademir Aparecido helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute of the match Danone CC got a corner. Los Tatangelos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gernando Proença ran over to the corner to take the kick. Manuel Salles was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Vahap Özdil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enéas Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Danone CC booed when Los Tatangelos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Münir Soysan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Gernando Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Danone CC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gernando Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gernando Proença's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vahap Özdil was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernando Proença in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vahap Özdil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 87 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goalkeeper Chico Albuquerque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bilal Pekant. Chico Albuquerque made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bilal Pekant in the 89th minute. If Gernando Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Júlio Pena put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vahap Özdil. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Danone CC had won after a very even match.
