The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Leopoldo Nuñez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julian Gaueko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Raebert having to interfere. A hard shot 7 in the game by Leopoldo Nuñez from a close distance when the talented Cosme Raebert managed to make a qualified save. Barrial FC's players were relieved. A collision led to Barrial FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Filomeno Batista hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Julian Gaueko put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cosme Raebert. Leopoldo Nuñez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Cosme Raebert when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julian Gaueko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 15 minutes, Leopoldo Nuñez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PUNTARENENSE F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Nuñez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julian Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Nuñez in the 23rd minute of play forced Barrial FC's goalkeeper Cosme Raebert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PUNTARENENSE F.C's Macho Madrigal got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Edgard Milian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrial FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PUNTARENENSE F.C the free kick. A collision led to Barrial FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Edgard Milian hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Leopoldo Nuñez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cosme Raebert came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by PUNTARENENSE F.C's Leopoldo Nuñez. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Nuñez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Julian Gaueko scored 3-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cosme Raebert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barrial FC's Cosme Raebert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Barrial FC from getting a goal against them. Julian Gauekos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Cosme Raebert to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 39 minutes, Leopoldo Nuñez made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Barrial FC's Cosme Raebert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopoldo Nuñez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julian Gaueko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Raebert having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Gaueko in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Raebert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes into the match, Barrial FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Nuñez came free, but Cosme Raebert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barrial FC's Cosme Raebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Nuñez in the 56th minute of play. Cosme Raebert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macho Madrigal in the 61st minute of play. Leopoldo Nuñez made a great header on PUNTARENENSE F.C's corner, it was just that Barrial FC's Cosme Raebert managed to reach the ball for a save. After 66 minutes, Leopoldo Nuñez made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Barrial FC's Cosme Raebert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cosme Raebert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Gaueko went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. PUNTARENENSE F.C's Immo Biela was substituted for Leopoldo Nuñez. Barrial FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. After having played for 80 minutes, Julian Gaueko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Julian Gaueko managed to get in a good position for a shot. PUNTARENENSE F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Gaueko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Raebert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Barrial FC's Leonides Guerau got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute, one of Barrial FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barrial FC.
