Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Rafe in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bandelocos's zone, Milosz Szostak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson do Vale came out of the goal and Milosz Szostak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Rafe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson do Vale having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Szostak in the 29th minute of play forced Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Dante Rafe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Dante Rafe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nilson do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Rafe in the 33rd minute of the match. Dante Rafe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilson do Vale having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dante Rafe in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilson do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Dante Rafe managed to get in a good position for a shot. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Rafe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilson do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Dante Rafe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GIOVANNI DZIADZIA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dante Rafe was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of GIOVANNI DZIADZIA booed when Bandelocos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Dante Rafe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson do Vale. Bandelocos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dante Rafe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Dante Rafe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Nilson do Vale made a huge save. The corner ended in Desiderio Constancio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale did a great save. In the 61st minute Rafael Sobis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes, Ivo Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandelocos and the GIOVANNI DZIADZIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Ivo Vidal got a free kick in the 64th minute. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Tunç Belge shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 67th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nilson do Vale but with some difficulty. Dante Rafe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilson do Vale having to make a save. Dante Rafe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nilson do Vale came out and tried to block the shot, but Dante Rafe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 69th minute. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Dante Rafe was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 77 minutes into the match Dante Rafe climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-5 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Nilson do Vale. If Dante Rafe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 85 in the game by Dante Rafe from a close distance when the talented Nilson do Vale managed to make a qualified save. Bandelocos's players were relieved. A collision led to Bandelocos getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ricardinho Vale hit a great ball. Dante Rafe might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilson do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dante Rafe ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute, Dante Rafe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilson do Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. The Bandelocos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
