The audience thought a goal was coming when Zülfü Sungur got free with Güvenç Taşan in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nafiz Revis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Kong Kun Xu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Güvenç Taşan, passed just outside the right post.
