Spectators: 7479 (Terracing: 5611, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mehmet Osman Temizel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Felix Enetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry McCray in the 10th minute of play. Christian Servando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lew Yashin having to make a save. 17 minutes into the match, Argon's goal looked a bit too open when Ortle Sancho came free, but Felix Enetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Adamski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Argon booed when Modlau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Adamski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lester Subili made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Argon's Kennet Sundén. Christian Servando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Argon getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kennet Sundén hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Argon's zone, Ortle Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Enetz came out of the goal and Ortle Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Enetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry McCray in the 33rd minute of play. Barry McCray struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Felix Enetz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Modlau. Alfred Wyrzykowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Enetz having to interfere. In the 41st minute Barry McCray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Enetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barry McCray to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Argon's goal looked a bit too open when Barry McCray came free, but Felix Enetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Ostap Geilarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Enetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Adamski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Artur Adamski took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Felix Enetz to make any attempt to save it. If Christian Servando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felix Enetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry McCray in the 69th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Argon's goalkeeper Felix Enetz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barry McCray. Argon's Yaya Toure was substituted for Christian Servando. The throw-in from Ostap Geilarov in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Argon's Pedro Peña. After having played for 79 minutes, Yaya Toure managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaya Toure was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Adamski in the 82nd minute of play forced Argon's goalkeeper Felix Enetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes of play, Argon's Yaya Toure made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lew Yashin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Enetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Adamski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Enetz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artur Adamski's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Felix Enetz was a little too slow when Alfred Wyrzykowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-4. After 91 minutes, Zula Puszynski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Modlau and the Argon players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Yaya Toure left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4.
