The audience thought a goal was coming when Ben Suteweij got free with Lew Yashin in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Talip Bayezit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Hatayspor players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Modlau from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
