In the 3rd minute, Cai Cheng Sang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Ciuvică in the 4th minute of play forced Bennis's goalkeeper Leonardo Jara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Cai Cheng Sang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sulev Vaht. Mulgimaa Kosilased's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cai Cheng Sang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 8 minutes of play, Bennis's Cai Cheng Sang made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sulev Vaht was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute, Cai Cheng Sang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bennis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 16 minutes into the game, Cai Cheng Sang recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sulev Vaht. Cai Cheng Sang showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. In the 21st minute, Mihail Ciuvică ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Jara was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 26 minutes into the match, Ernst Murumaa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Jara. Bennis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernst Murumaa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Kalvi Tulp got a throw-in 31 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ernst Murumaa. 32 minutes into the match, Bennis's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Ciuvică came free, but Leonardo Jara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cai Cheng Sang in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sulev Vaht saved Mulgimaa Kosilased from getting behind. In the 46th match minute, Bennis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Arne Deckberg to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Åke Granberg to make the kick off. Sulev Vaht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Åke Granberg in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Bennis got a corner. Mulgimaa Kosilased's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lin Xuan Hai ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ernst Murumaa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Leonardo Jara made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Åke Granberg in the 60th minute of play forced Mulgimaa Kosilased's goalkeeper Sulev Vaht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Jara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Ciuvică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bennis's Roy Vesterberg was substituted for Aloísio Senna. In the 77th minute, Rolf Roppel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mulgimaa Kosilased's Steevy Ferlay was substituted for Ernst Murumaa. A collision led to Mulgimaa Kosilased getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Rolf Roppel hit a great ball. Leonardo Jara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Ciuvică in the 80th minute of play. Sulev Vaht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Uggstedt in the 84th minute of the match. Steevy Ferlay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Leonardo Jara made a huge save. Steevy Ferlay took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Jara. Leonardo Jara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. In the 92nd minute, Pål Uggstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henk Poortmans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Jara having to make a save. With a little luck, Bennis's Leonardo Jara got control of the ball when Steevy Ferlay tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mulgimaa Kosilased players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bennis.
