Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonard Basinski started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yiğit Haşmetli in the 4th minute of play forced Pogoń Staszów's goalkeeper Cyryl Kaider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cyryl Kaider stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yiğit Haşmetli's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Mario Balotelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Frits Lenoir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yiğit Haşmetli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Yiğit Haşmetli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Kaider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Pogoń Staszów's Rajmund Zajíc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frits Lenoir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute Pogoń Staszów were awarded a corner. Stasio Hajduk went to the cornerflag to take it. 26 minutes into the match, Indiana University's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Balotelli came free, but Frits Lenoir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes, Norbert Burdalski made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Indiana University's Frits Lenoir tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Balotelli in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frits Lenoir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yiğit Haşmetli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frits Lenoir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Săraru in the 37th minute of the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Yiğit Haşmetli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Indiana University's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yiğit Haşmetli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Pogoń Staszów's Cyryl Kaider got control of the ball when Özalp Haliloğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yiğit Haşmetli in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cyryl Kaider saved Pogoń Staszów from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Paul Săraru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pogoń Staszów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yiğit Haşmetli was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Indiana University's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Balotelli came free, but Frits Lenoir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Özalp Haliloğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyryl Kaider having to interfere. When Indiana University's Yiğit Haşmetli in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pogoń Staszów's goalie prevented a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Indiana University's goalkeeper Frits Lenoir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silas Rodrigues. 68 minutes into the match, Pogoń Staszów's goal looked a bit too open when Yiğit Haşmetli came free, but Cyryl Kaider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franciszek Lichucki kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Cyryl Kaider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yiğit Haşmetli in the 81st minute of play. Mario Balotelli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Frits Lenoir skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Indiana University booed when Pogoń Staszów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franciszek Lichucki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Indiana University made a substitution. Aykut Kocaman replaced Özalp Haliloğlu. Franciszek Lichucki hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Görkem Baloğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Cyryl Kaider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hikmet Temirkut kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Indiana University supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pogoń Staszów's performance. The match ended with a win for Pogoń Staszów.
