Frits Lenoir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Oftedal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Suleskard were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Indiana University's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edvin Hilde took the corner. In the 12th minute of the match, Yiğit Haşmetli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adrian Grøndahl saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 15th minute Yiğit Haşmetli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Grøndahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Indiana University's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Oftedal came free, but Frits Lenoir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frits Lenoir came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Suleskard's Lars Oftedal. But to his dismay, Lars Oftedal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Torjus Fjellheim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yiğit Haşmetli in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Grøndahl saved Suleskard from getting behind. Indiana University were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Suleskard's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hikmet Temirkut took the corner. With a little luck, Suleskard's Adrian Grøndahl got control of the ball when Özalp Haliloğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hikmet Temirkut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rocky Ryland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes Indiana University got a freekick which was hit by Devlet Aydın. Frits Lenoir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvin Hilde in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lars Oftedal made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Rocky Ryland tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Frits Lenoir saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lars Oftedal scored 0-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frits Lenoir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Torjus Fjellheim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suleskard's supporters rose to their feet, but Torjus Fjellheim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frits Lenoir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Suleskard getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Arnold Evans hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Oftedal got free with Frits Lenoir in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Torjus Fjellheim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suleskard's supporters rose to their feet, but Torjus Fjellheim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frits Lenoir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Nøttveit in the 71st minute of play forced Indiana University's goalkeeper Frits Lenoir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Indiana University made a substitution. Görkem Baloğlu replaced Yiğit Haşmetli. After a rather tough play, Suleskard's Arnold Evans got a free kick in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Görkem Baloğlu in the 86th minute of play forced Suleskard's goalkeeper Adrian Grøndahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Suleskard booed when Indiana University was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Okanay Kiram didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Indiana University's goalkeeper Frits Lenoir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 94 minutes Indiana University's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edvin Hilde who took care of the corner kick.
