Dominguito's Inocencio Ermengol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Dominguito from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Cordeiro got free with Inocencio Ermengol in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Cordeiro had several of the Dominguito's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Inocencio Ermengol as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a little luck, Dominguito's Inocencio Ermengol got control of the ball when Jorge Cordeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Justo Matxin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Cordeiro didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 19th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Jorge Cordeiro ran dejectedly back to his position. Inocencio Ermengol didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Jorge Cordeiros short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Inocencio Ermengol to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dominguito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newcastle United FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Dominguito's Everardo Micael got a free kick in the 31st minute. Inocencio Ermengol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Mohammad in the 35th minute of play. Jorge Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Inocencio Ermengol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silverio Teijeiro hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Otto Hermansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Lawrence, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Jorge Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Claes Ahlroht managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newcastle United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claes Ahlroht was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inocencio Ermengol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Cordeiro scored 4-0 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inocencio Ermengol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvio Boniel to strike the kick off in the second half. Inocencio Ermengol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Gustavsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute Aaron Knutsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Ermengol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Cordeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inocencio Ermengol having to make a save. Claes Ahlroht struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Inocencio Ermengol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle United FC. In the 70th minute, Silverio Teijeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Inocencio Ermengol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Tord Åström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Inocencio Ermengol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Jorge Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Bruno Reynardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Jorge Cordeiro made a precise shot to the right of Inocencio Ermengol. Dominguito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After a rather tough play, Dominguito's Justo Matxin got a free kick in the 89th minute. When Newcastle United FC's Jorge Cordeiro in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Newcastle United FC booed when Dominguito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Matxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 99th minute of the match Everardo Micael completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Everardo Micael a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 100th match minute, Dominguito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Micael to maneuver through the defense. Inocencio Ermengol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Cordeiro in the 101st minute of the match.
