The crowd rose to their feet as UPAU FC's Hans Ayrton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Borimir Karamanchev. That made the score 1-1 after 15 minutes of play. 21 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Blas's Gavino Jakes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Persson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Emanuel Persson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Odon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atletico Blas's Borimir Karamanchev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Blas from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Persson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Maule, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Blas's zone, Dário Koehler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Borimir Karamanchev came out of the goal and Dário Koehler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Club Atletico Blas booed when UPAU FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Cordarell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borimir Karamanchev came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by UPAU FC's Hans Ayrton. But to his dismay, Hans Ayrton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 44 minutes into the match, UPAU FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Maule came free, but Emanuel Persson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Borimir Karamanchev showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emanuel Persson made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Leopoldo Odon sent off a good shot on target. Club Atletico Blas's Borimir Karamanchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Perez in the 61st minute of play. After 65 played minutes, UPAU FC's Lorenzo Amor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Borimir Karamanchev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UPAU FC reached it. Emanuel Persson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Odon in the 66th minute. Club Atletico Blas's Julio Bazil was substituted for Edgard Marin. Club Atletico Blas's Ernesto Aureo was substituted for Cirilo Bernard. Club Atletico Blas made a substitution. Erubiel Quintana replaced Justino Maule. A collision led to Club Atletico Blas getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Norberto Lluc hit a great ball. After 89 minutes of play, Club Atletico Blas's Leopoldo Odon made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Persson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Arturo Ixaka came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Club Atletico Blas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Ixaka couldn't finish the play. Erubiel Quintana took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Persson. Emanuel Persson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5.
