RAMBO FC's Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save RAMBO FC from getting a goal against them. Frits Nabe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, Jaizki Chirivoga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. XENEIXES FC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after RAMBO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gábor Szász took the corner. The corner ended in Denis Chano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RAMBO FC's Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in RAMBO FC's zone, Frits Nabe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez came out of the goal and Frits Nabe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Jeremias Ixaka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XENEIXES FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Ixaka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. XENEIXES FC's Gábor Szász got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frits Nabe in the 44th minute of play forced RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RAMBO FC's Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frits Nabe in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frits Nabe was the one to do the kick off. Gábor Szász blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez having to make a save. Frits Nabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frits Nabe in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frits Nabe in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez saved RAMBO FC from getting behind. RAMBO FC's Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gábor Szász in the 61st minute of play. In the 67th minute, Cristian Senio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. XENEIXES FC's Geronimo Tonio was substituted for Frits Nabe. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Tonio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Ovidio Jakobe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. XENEIXES FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
