The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martín Palermo to strike the kick off in the second half. José Vítor de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Alvinegro de Tupã was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tostão Branco to maneuver through the defense.
