Ralf Mattsson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 3rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 12th minute, Martin Palermo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ralf Mattsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ralf Mattsson came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Magic is Back's Martin Palermo. But to his dismay, Martin Palermo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 18th match minute, Lobster if was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Liljeström to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Magic is Back's Roberto Rogel got a free kick in the 20th minute. Ruben Sánchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Ström in the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Lobster if's Ralf Mattsson. Ralf Mattsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute, Martin Palermo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ralf Mattsson. The goal made the score 5-0. The Magic is Back fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Magic is Back's Martin Palermo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lobster if's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcelo Trobbiani was slow to take the kick. During this time Magic is Back's players had a chance to rest. Marcelo Trobbiani made a great header on Magic is Back's corner, it was just that Lobster if's Ralf Mattsson managed to reach the ball for a save. 38 minutes into the game, Magic is Back's Martin Palermo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ralf Mattsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Martin Palermo took a quick shot and it went in 8-0 without a chance for Ralf Mattsson to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Per-Åke Isaksson made the kick off in the second half. Jim Liljeström kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Martin Palermo took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ralf Mattsson. Ralf Mattsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. 55 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralf Mattsson. Lobster if's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Palermo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Magic is Back made a substitution. Roberto Mouzo replaced Roland Schiavi. Ovidio Laurentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ralf Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Palermo in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Magic is Back's Martin Palermo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ralf Mattsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. Ralf Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Martin Palermo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ralf Mattsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Martin Palermo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ralf Mattsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Sebastián Battaglia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magic is Back's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastián Battaglia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Martin Palermo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Magic is Back fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. After some careless play in the Lobster if defense, Martin Palermo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ralf Mattsson. The Lobster if fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ralf Mattsson should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Martin Palermo put it in 16-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ralf Mattsson. There was no doubt that Magic is Back were the better team. Magic is Back's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
