Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frasier Huber started the match with the kick off. Urbano Hotz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Krisztián Sydbøge came out and tried to block the shot, but Urbano Hotz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. Krisztián Sydbøge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Meier in the 9th minute of play. When SalentoUnited's Urbano Hotz in 12 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Krisztián Sydbøge guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Urbano Hotz had several of the Nimród Vére's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Krisztián Sydbøge as he didn't even see the shot coming. Urbano Hotz came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Krisztián Sydbøge could save by the left post. 18 minutes into the game, Urbano Hotz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Krisztián Sydbøge was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Krisztián Sydbøge was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Frasier Huber capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frasier Huber really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. Bunda Grande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tivadar Sörös in the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Nimród Vére's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Meier came free, but Krisztián Sydbøge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krisztián Sydbøge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frasier Huber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krisztián Sydbøge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urbano Hotz in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute Edgar Meier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krisztián Sydbøge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SalentoUnited getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Kari Fortunin hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, SalentoUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Ede Edelényi came free, but Bunda Grande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

SalentoUnited's Ergincan Suerkan was substituted for Fox Aiello. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tivadar Sörös stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Krisztián Sydbøge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavius Gräf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Peter Marti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SalentoUnited fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. In the 63rdth minute of the game Frasier Huber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nimród Vére's Krisztián Sydbøge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, SalentoUnited's goalkeeper Bunda Grande had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gáspár Vörös. 65 minutes into the game, Gáspár Vörös recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bunda Grande. Gáspár Vörös showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 9-1. SalentoUnited made a substitution. Alexis Veterini replaced Urbano Hotz. Octavius Gräf took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Krisztián Sydbøge. Krisztián Sydbøge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-1. Krisztián Sydbøge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frasier Huber in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of SalentoUnited booed when Nimród Vére was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Endre Pataky didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Frasier Huber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SalentoUnited's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frasier Huber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute Frasier Huber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krisztián Sydbøge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Frasier Huber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Krisztián Sydbøge. Nimród Vére's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frasier Huber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-1. After 85 minutes, Frasier Huber made it 13-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nimród Vére's Krisztián Sydbøge tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Krisztián Sydbøge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frasier Huber in the 93rd minute of the match. When Frasier Huber came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the SalentoUnited fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frasier Huber couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frasier Huber in the 96th minute of play forced Nimród Vére's goalkeeper Krisztián Sydbøge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Octavius Gräf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SalentoUnited's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nimród Vére the free kick. After a rather tough play, SalentoUnited's Octavius Gräf got a free kick in the 98th minute. There was no doubt that SalentoUnited were the better team. SalentoUnited's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
