Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manfredo Travassos in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurens Gijselinghs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, real dixmuda's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Dantas came free, but Laurens Gijselinghs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Luizão Dinamite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurens Gijselinghs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Belo Academy's Ricardo Varela got a free kick in the 57th minute. Manfredo Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Laurens Gijselinghs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, real dixmuda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurence Swin to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by José Augusto de Andrade from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Laurens Gijselinghs's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Qian Xi fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
